Questions parents ask

Is my child too young or too inexperienced?+

If they’re aged 4–12, we have a group to start. Saturday Beginners at MES (4–6 yrs) is the gentlest introduction, and that session offers a free trial.

How do I know which class to choose?+

At Sciennes, children join by school year: P1 - P2, P3 - P4 or P4 - P7. At MES, choose by level — Beginners, Beginners - Intermediate, Mixed Ability, or Intermediate - Advanced. Every MES session offers a free trial if you are unsure.

Will they be safe?+

Coaches are PVG certified and safeguarding-trained, with first aid cover at sessions and clear collection routines. Ask us anything about safety — we’re happy to explain.

What if my child is shy or nervous?+

That’s normal. Coaches settle new gymnasts with encouragement and simple tasks first. Most children relax within the first session or two.

What happens after I book a trial or send a message?+

You’ll get confirmation of time and venue, plus what to bring. We aim to reply to messages within 24 hours on weekdays. You can also book directly on our ClassForKids portal.
